This weight loss journey ain’t no joke. Some days it’s all good, everything is on and poppin. Other days I just want to throw my hands up and say forget it. But I will never do that. As long as I have breath in my body I will keep working to attain my goal. Following are 10 things that keep me motivated to keep pushing and keep trying.
1 – Looking at pictures of myself from just a few years ago when I was in the best shape of my life.
2 – Knowing that if I did it once I can do it again.
3 – Wanting to have a good quality of life and not wanting to be hindered by my weight.
4 – Experiencing myself getting better and stronger physically and mentally.
5 – Not wanting to continue having back and knee pain.
6 – Wanting to get back to hiking, Zumba and running.
7 – The thrill of accomplishing something I didn’t think I could do.
8 – Knowing that others are watching and that I can be an inspiration to them.
9 – Anticipating the day I can finally cross “lose weight” off my goals list.
10 – I’ll be 50 next year and I don’t want to fight this battle for another 50 years!
