“Come Alive in 365” (days that is)…I gave my blog that title because that was my goal for this year…to come alive, to start living life to the fullest and to no longer allow my weight to hinder me from realizing my dreams. So far I’ve accomplished some pretty amazing things…many of which were not even on my radar until I began this journey. As the weight continues to come off and as I become lighter in weight and in burdens, I can see myself fulfilling my dreams, some of which have been with me for a while. Of course many are new, but all seem reachable especially since I’ve gained a new found confidence in my ability to make them happen. So here are just a few things on my bucket list…don’t laugh okay?
- Learn how to swim
- Start riding a bike again
- Go hiking (specifically up a mountain)
- Take Ballroom Dance Lessons (in progress)
- Enter into an amateur ballroom dance competition
- Write a book and become a published author
- Run in the Broad Street Run (10 miles)
- Complete a half marathon (13.1 miles)
- Compete in a triathlon (I don’t know where this came from, but I really want to do it)
- Complete a marathon (26.1 miles)
- Meet Oprah Winfrey (love her)
- Visit the Grand Canon
- Visit Paris
- Become a motivational speaker
- Go to a live showing of Dancing With The Stars
- Learn how to play the piano
