I really wanted to do well this week with my eating and exercise and I made the commitment to myself to do so. My hard work and dedication really payed off. I stepped on the scale this morning at Weight Watchers to the tune of a 6.2 weight loss. To date, I am down 71 lbs. and I am now more DETERMINED to lose 29 lbs. between now and December 31st so that I will reach my 100 lb. goal before 2012 rolls up out of here. I’m focused AND I WILL make it happen.
I forgot to mention yesterday that I ran my 3 miles (a total of 9 for the week), and it was a pretty good run. Some days are more challenging than others, but yesterday was pretty cool. I had a good Zumba class this morning and now I am about to drop it low LOL, and get on this floor to do some planks, crunches, squats, leg lifts and a few other things. My legs are feeling better (for the moment), but my upper body is screaming. I can’t even stretch out my arms.
Tomorrow is my rest day, and that is EXACTLY what I’m gonna do. My food shopping is done for the week so I won’t have any problems sticking to my program. I would love to be able to see another 6 lb. weight loss next week, but realistically I know every week will not be such a large drop. My October weight loss goal was 15lb., but now it’s 20, which means I have 3 more weeks to drop 15lbs. I can and I will do it.
November and December’s goals are 10 lbs. each. When I reach my year end goal, that will put me at 240lbs. Can I just tell you I haven’t seen 240lbs since I was in my early twenties. That is gonna be a happy day for me, but right now I need to focus on one thing at a time and celebrate one victory at a time.
