Today was a chill day for me. I so needed it. Running 5 days straight last week took it’s toll on my body. But tomorrow it’s back to my grind! I will be starting my 80/80 challenge. That’s right, I am going to run 80 miles in 80 days between January 1 and March 20. Within that time frame, I am going to be working on my speed, and working towards running 5 miles straight without stopping. I am also committing to a consistent weight training regimen and of course I am putting all my focus on my eating. This is the year where I’m putting it all together. In the past I have been able to lose a few pounds by “dieting” for a few months and then I’d fall off the wagon. Then for my next attempt I would go to the gym for a month or two, but once “life” happened, I would stop going. That has been my pattern, but this is the year that I’m putting a stop to all the “stop and start”, and I am going to keep it movin no matter what!
