I would like to do a series on self-sabotage because I think it’s a big hindrance to reaching our weight loss goals. But for now, I’ve identified some of the things we say to ourselves and convince ourselves of that keep us stuck and in a weight loss rut.
1 – One bite won’t kill me.
2 – I already blew my plan for today, I might as well keep going.
3 – I’ve been “good” all week, I deserve a treat.
4 – I don’t want this food to go to waste.
5 – Missing one workout will not kill me.
6 – I just don’t feel like it.
7 – I’m only human, nobody is perfect.
8 – I’m grown and I can do what I want and nobody can stop me.
9 – I’ll start all over tomorrow (or on Monday).
10 – I just can’t resist_________________.
