I don’t know about you, but every now and then I need a reminder that this process doesn’t have to be hard or burdensome. Here are 20 things that I’ve done and that I continue to do to keep myself in the game. I will expound upon each within their own post, but today I just wanted to remind myself (and you) that it’s the baby steps and the little nuggets of motivation that will get us to our goal.

- Practice mindful eating
- Make a contingency plan, not excuses
- Build a support team
- Planning is key! Fail to plan and you plan to fail
- Find healthy alternatives. Don’t resist, replace
- Take baby steps but take them EVERY DAY!
- Find a program that’s right for YOU!
- Make your training a routine
- Change your language
- Don’t be so hard on yourself
