It’s goal setting time! Last week didn’t go as I had planned and I”m feeling like this week is going to be a challenge for me as well. Nevertheless, I have to establish a plan, something in which I can work towards so that I’m not floundering around. The best strategy for me this week is to keep it simple.
So, my first goal for this week is to maintain. If I lose weight that will be great, but if I’m able to maintain then I’ve hit my mark.
Being off from work this week means that my routine will be broken. I’m the type of person who definitely needs structure, so goal number two is to maintain my morning routine so that there is a semblance of structure to my day.
Tracking, drinking my water and blogging for accountability have been my staples, which of course I will continue to do daily.
At some point during all my Christmas shopping, I need to get to the supermarket. I think that needs to be my priority for tomorrow. If I’m going to get back on track with my eating, I need to have the food in the house, right?
I’m sure to get my steps in with all the walking I’ll be doing going from store to store. I would like to schedule in some gym time. I’m planning to do so Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I think I can make that happen.
