I just finished my workout and of course I feel great! I made sure I went to bed at a decent time so that I wouldn’t be tempted to stay under the covers this morning. When the alarm went off I did hit the snooze a few times but the thought of not going to the gym this morning never crossed my mind. I made sure I stretched before heading out and I know that made the difference in my workout.
As you can see I didn’t walk far or long. It’s taking me 30 minutes to walk a mile. I’m setting a goal to get myself back to walking a mile in 15 minutes or less. But for now my 30 minute mile works just fine. I may not be the fastest but the fact that I able to move at all is a blessing that I will gladly take!
My heel is feeling great and after stretching my back felt good as well. My knee however is still giving me some problems but I persevered. My next step towards getting this body together is to get some support in my foot ware. As I was walking it felt like my knee struggle was coming from my fallen arches. My podiatrist recommended I get some Power Step Insoles to give me the arch support I need. They are pretty expensive but at this point the cost of not getting them is much higher. I’d rather shell out the money so that I can stop doing damage to my body.
So now that my workout is done I’m ready to take on my day, which is good because I have a long one ahead of me.
