I’m checking in quickly tonight because I’m on my way to Zumba. Is it me or did the day fly by? When the alarm went off this morning, I’m sorry y’all I shut that thing off, rolled back over and went back to sleep. I didn’t go to bed until 2:00 a.m. I knew when I laid my head down that a 6:00 a.m. walk was probably out of the question and I was right. So I packed my gym bag this morning with the intent to make it to the gym on my lunch hour. That too did not happen. Knowing I had to teach my Zumba class tonight, and knowing I did not want to skip out on walking today, and knowing I would not do a darn thing AFTER Zumba, I took my booty to the gym straight after work. I’m just getting in now and I have to freshen up, change my clothes, and back out the door I go.
The moral of this story: I’m on a roll with my consistency and my commitment to myself to walk every day this month AND NOTHING will stop me. This is day 24 and I can check my walk off as done! I have 7 more days…one more week before I can celebrate with a foot massage and a much needed pedicure. I can’t WAIT!! I think I’ll have my toes painted in a nice cool baby blue shade. Now that’s living on the wild side

Since this bad winter I have struggled getting back to my consistent workout. What can you suggest I do to become more consistent. I have taken clothes to work wind up not going to the gym or out running. Tried early morning workouts and this whole year I have had trouble getting out the bed. Don’t know what has changed, but I know that I need to get my behind back in gear.

I had a wisdom tooth extraction with complications, and legitimately had to miss some two months of my water zumba. But guess what – I had the surgery in February and haven’t set foot in the exercise building since. So I send out my cheering to you! You will deserve that treat for sure. Now to work on myself.
