It’s the start of a new week and that means it’s time to set some goals. So here it goes. This week I want to build upon the foundation I’ve already put in place.
- I’m eating 3 square meals a day. I haven’t been snacking but I have noticed that I’m pretty hungry between meals. So goal number one is to add in some healthy snacks (fruit, nuts, boiled egg, carrots and hummas as examples).
- I’ve been tracking my eating using both MyFitnessPal and a paper tracker, which I created to help track my bodies feedback to the foods I’m eating and the sleep I’m getting. Goal number two, continue to use both trackers.
- I’ve been drinking anywhere from 64 – 80 ounces of water each day. Goal number three, continue to hydrate.
- I’ve been tracking my steps with my Fitbit. Goal number four, continue to track my steps AND add in more steps by going to the gym on my lunch hour to workout on the treadmill or eliptical.
- I’ve been really enjoying my morning routine, which sets the tone for my day. Goal number five, continue my morning routine AND add stretching to the morning mix.
So, to recap, my goals for this week are to:
- Add in some healthy snacks to my daily menu
- Continue to use both my paper tracker and MyFitness Pal to log my eating
- Continue to hydrate and get my 64 -80 ounces in
- Continue to wear my Fitbit and track my steps and sleep patterns
- Go to the gym on my lunch hour to workout on the treadmill or eliptical
- Add morning stretches to my morning routine
I feel good about these goals because as I add new things to my weekly agenda, I’m also maintaining consistency and not abandoning what’s working. This is a program I can stick with!!
