Last month is when I had my “enough is enough” moment. I got tired of being sick and tired. I got tired of putting off what I desperately wanted and needed to do, and I got tired of putting my life on hold because my life had gotten in the way. I knew I had to do something and I knew I had do something other than what I was doing, which at the time was absolutely NOTHING!!!
So, I wrote five goals for myself for the month of November, which were:
- Establish My Morning Routine (I shared with you yesterday what the results have been from being consistent with this)
- Daily Planning – Follow a To-Do List (this one has been hit or miss for me, so this has rolled over to my goals for December)
- Wear my Fitbit Daily – (I’ve been doing this consistently)
- Track my Eating in MyFitnessPal- (I’ve been doing this consistently now for 33 days!)
- Go To The Gym On My Lunch Hour (I only made it to the gym twice Gotta Plan B this goal!
Here’s the thing, out of the five goals I set for myself, I accomplished three of them AND I’ve been rewarded for my efforts. This morning when I stepped on the scale I was down to 317.8! Whoot! Whoot! This is major because all of this year I have gained and lost the same seven pounds at least 15 times. The lowest I’d seen up to this point was 319. So when it finally settled and I saw that 317.8 I was completely stoked! And not only that, but Fitbit sent me a lovely email today congratulating me for earning my 5lb. weight loss badge!! Hello
It feels amazing to see the scale go down while I’m still able to enjoy my food and not feel deprived in any shape form or fashion. Now this is something I can definitely do for the rest of my life. Let the badges keep coming!!
