Hiya! For those of you who are familiar with Come Alive In 365, as you can see, I’ve been busy. So, how do you like my new site?
I’m pretty excited about it. After blogging everyday for one year about my personal weight loss journey I decided to change things up, make some upgrades if you will. For those of you who have been following my journey, you know I set out to “Come Alive in 365” on October 7, 2011. For one year I committed to documenting my metamorphosis, sharing my highs and lows, and accomplishing some amazing things. My main reason for setting out on this course was to hold myself accountable so I would not give up.
Although I was hoping to inspire others along the way, I couldn’t really conceive of the impact my journey would have on so many people. I’ve been extremely blessed by the feedback and the stories of some wonderful women who have decided to reclaim their health and live an abundant life by taking their own personal journeys.
So now I want to dedicate this site to helping you do the same. My journey certainly isn’t over, and neither is yours. And you know what? There is strength in numbers. I have no doubt in my mind that if we do this together, we will reach heights that none of us ever dreamed of.
Come Alive In 365 will be our meeting place. It will be the place where I will continue to share my personal journey, however it will also be the place where I will be YOUR personal motivator to encourage you to accomplish some amazing things as well.
So in order to get started here’s what I would like for you to do:
- Subscribe to this blog via email for your regular dose of inspiration. You can do so at the top of this page.
- Become an active participate on the site by asking questions, answering questions or simply leaving an inspirational message for me or for fellow readers
- Like me on Facebook! You can do so right over there to your right
I am dedicated to helping you reach your goals, whatever they may be. You want to lose some weight, I can help you do that. You want to get out of debt, I can help you do that too. You want to do the very thing that frightens you the most, but will bring you an amazing feeling of accomplishment, I can help you do it. Hey, we ALL need a little encouragement, and a little help from our friends. I hope you’ll come to consider me as your friend and your cheerleader. What I know for sure is that with the love and support of others you can soar to the moon and live among the stars
I’m definitely looking forward to reaching some new goals and new heights. But I am even more excited about helping you to reach yours. As Patti LaBelle sings, “when you’ve been blessed, pass it on”, and that’s exactly what I intend to do. So if you are ready, let’s do this and I’ll see you at the top!

Wow Stacey! Congrats to you! I stumbled across your blog via Shannon on Facebook from the Expose Yourself group! I have to say, what an incredible woman you are! I can’t wait to receive your inspiring posts in my inbox each time you write! I’ve enjoyed looking at your blog so far! I just got married on Oct 6, and have set a goal to learn how to be a good and caring wife. Thinking about establishing a weekly post on something to do with my marriage on my blog. Whether it be something small or huge, my husband and I both are in a position where we need to take over our bodies and I look forward to showing him your blog! AMAZING! You are simply amazing, thank you for sharing this with all of us out here in the blogosphere and the world!

Hi Patti!! Thank you so much! Any friend of Shannon is a friend of mine Congratulations on your marriage!! You guys are still in the honeymoon stage, how exciting If I may, I’d like to recommend a book that would help you reach your goal for being a good and caring wife: The Excellent Wife by Marsha Peace.
Blogging weekly about your marriage or marriage in general sounds like it would make for a great read.
I’m so pleased that you like my blog and I’m hoping to be able to continue to inspire you and others to literally step out on faith, take baby steps, enjoy the process, and make it happen (not just with weight loss and fitness, but with anything you want to do). Your enthusiasm is contagious. I haven’t stopped smiling since reading your comment. Thanks again Pattie! I’m gonna hop on over to your blog now. Can’t wait to read it!
